The first time I saw an Harlequin Golf when I was maybe 10yo or so, I thought it was someone who just went to the local junkyard to get his car back together and got many panels of different colors...

Love it. My wife wanted a multi colored Rabbit like in the commercials c. 2007. Why can’t we get cars multicolored factory??  Guess it would be terribly labor intensive.

Honestly I don’t think it would be! I’m pretty sure they paint the panels separately from the car, so all they have to do is switch them up from one car to another, a computer could be programmed to do that efficiently.

I think it might just be due to marketing and management.
